About the Summit
The Social Impact Marketing Summit and Awards (SIMS) is an initiative of Hexa Media Africa, a conference dedicated to the intersection of marketing, digital strategy, and social impact. Since our inaugural edition, we’ve been on one mission: equipping African nonprofit leaders and NGO professionals with the skills and tools to drive extraordinary impact.
We’ve hosted two fully virtual editions and brought the community together in person in Lagos, Nigeria — and we’re not slowing down. The 2026 edition goes deeper than ever, putting artificial intelligence at the center of everything.
The Mission
To equip African nonprofit leaders, social entrepreneurs, and NGO professionals with cutting-edge digital skills, knowledge, and community entirely free of financial barriers.
The Nonprofit Sector in Africa Is at a Turning Point
AI tools are becoming more accessible, more affordable, and more powerful — but too few organizations in our sector know how to use them. SIMS 2026 exists to close that gap. We’re not here to talk about AI in abstract. We’re here to hand you the tools and watch you run.
Who We Are
Hexa Media is Africa’s AI-powered communications agency — built specifically for nonprofits, social enterprises, and female-led organisations across the continent. We combine AI-driven strategy, digital media, impact storytelling, and fundraising communications to make your work visible to the people who can fund, partner with, and amplify it.
We started in 2020 with one conviction: that the organisations doing the most important work in Africa are far too often the least visible. Six years later, we have worked across 25 countries and trained 500+ organisations, and that conviction has not changed. If anything, it has deepened
